MERRY MAST had ben threatening to get off the mark for some time before finally doing so over a mile a fortnight ago. He's only 4lb higher and there's no reason why the longer trip shouldn't suit so he's taken to go in again. Lord Kenmare looked an unlucky loser when stepped up to this trip in February so it was a surprise to see him dropped back to a mile last time. He should get into the frame despite a big weight but the former Andrew Balding inmate Miss Mitigate has yet to shine for new connections. Table Forty Six had Calle Aneto and General Bunching close behind in the minor places over the track and trip last month and should confirm the form over the latter pair, who had no excuses. It's a long time since Coach Bombay won a race but he's dropped to a lowly mark accordingly.
