Talenti ran very well over the C&D when last seen in November but is likely to need this while Silas Mariner hasn't been showing much over hurdles after a long absence. The Frog Prince hasn't really progressed as expected though he's been racing over trips too short this winter and should be in the shake-up as he holds Daytime Dreamer on their latest run. The veteran Monahullen Prince is well handicapped these days but hasn't been showing much so this can go to THE ICE FACTOR. Mervyn Torrens' charge has won twice over hurdles and was runner-up over this trip on Fibresand at Southwell in December, form that should be good enough from his lowly spot in the weights.
