Golden Twilight won this last year, one of four course victories, and had been racing in much stronger company on Turf before returning here last month. A PIECE OF HEAVEN was having only his fourth career start when making all over 1m6f at Gowran. Well supported that day, he should be capable of further progress and a mark of 85 looks manageable. Longclaw had been in very good form all summer before reverting to this track and battling to victory. He's up 6lb but Jamie Powell can use his 3lb claim this time. Jaafel tackles the trip for the first time but certainly wasn't stopping when scoring easily over the extended 1m2f here a fortnight ago.
