      Verdict

      THE FIRM is comfortably the pick on official ratings despite a mark of just 65. Kevin Prendergast's charge has had very little racing for a five-year-old but wasn't beaten far in a handicap here in November and should get off the mark. Ballynakelly made a promising start behind Kavaco in a maiden here in November but was beaten a long way on a return visit last month. A line through Our Manekineko puts Ghost Of A Girl in with a shout as both her and the selection have finished behind that winner recently though the latter has now gone 15 starts without winning, though that's still eight less than Catalpa.
