Maudlin Magdalen has been in tremendous form all summer and only just failed to add a premier handicap at the Curragh to her tally last month. Sharjah completed a treble of course victories in January but shot up the weights and was unable to cope though he's now back on an attractive mark. Vale Do Sol went up a massive 10lb for his victory at Navan in July but it didn't prevent another big run at Gowran and he ran well on his only start on this track. GLASSATURA won over a mile here last October and, though she hasn't won subsequently, she's been in good form so the fact that she's 8lb lower hands her a very good opportunity. Aurelia Cotta completed a double on Turf in August but has shot up the weights and is having her first start here.
