In depth

Verdict

Our Rachael ended the last Flat season with a double and though unplaced in three starts here hasn't been beaten far and still looks reasonably treated. Easy Boy has been consistent here over the winter and again ran well when a close fourth behind Universal Focus over track and trip three weeks ago. The winner was having just his second start on the surface and is obviously suited so should make a bold bid to defy a 4lb rise and complete a double. Solar Heat was only beaten a length in that latter event on his reappearance so is another who can get into the action. The veteran KING OF ARAN won over hurdles in August and was having his first subsequent start when runner-up over a trip too short here in March. He's now on a very lenient mark and can go one better.
