This is a very poor maiden and HEART IN THE AIR can only be a tentative selection. Andy Oliver's filly has run moderately over timber since a very good third over a mile at Navan in October and that latter form may suffice here. Sparanai has looked woefully one-paced but if anyone can get a race out of her it's Jim Bolger. She has produced a couple of half-decent runs on the track and has a superb pedigree. Viaduct Joey, better known as a hurdler and chaser, almost produced a shock when a close second to Black Label over the track and trip a fortnight ago but the winner has since been beaten a distance over timber. Rock Of Glenstal has shown nothing over hurdles but his earlier bumper form gives some cause for optimism.
