Rosscarbery has changed trainers after a disappointing 2021 and takes a massive drop in trip after racing over 1m6f when last seen at Leopardstown in August. Golden Lyric has had enough chances but was in good form when last seen here four months ago and should get competitive while Cristal Clere ran his best race to date in a course and distance handicap last week and won't need to do much more to get involved. BALLYSAX was well beaten in two UK starts last May but showed there are races to be won with her with a very positive reappearance last month where she didn't get the clearest of runs. Oisin Orr replaces a 10lb claimer and his mount gets the nod though Maristella is interesting making a belated debut for Johnny Murtagh.
