Verdict

A point-to-point winner last year, ROYAL RENDEZVOUS has joined Willie Mullins and should be sharper for last month’s comeback run at Galway. He has little to fear form today’s opposition on the face of it with only Whoshotthesherif making any appeal of the remainder. The latter never figured in a valuable sales bumper at Fairyhouse last time but was placed at Leopardstown on his earlier debut. Peace Party has gone the wrong way but the newcomer Hang In There, a half-brother to several winners, may be worth a second glance.
