Amaulino won this last year and looks to have been laid out for another crack as he's been racing over hurdles. He's 8lb higher but another victory shouldn't be ruled out. Gordon Elliott has six entries and Poormans Hill has been here three times and won the lot so he's respected from the foot of the handicap though the stable's CHEB DE KERVINIOU has been threatening to win a race of this nature for some time. Third behind today's rival Ifyoucatchmenow in the Grand National Trial at Punchestown, he was headed close home in the Leinster National at Naas next time and can go one better. Jimmil looked progressive when landing a lucrative novices' handicap at Navan though this is tougher from 14lb higher.
