Verdict

Lip Service opened with a decent effort at Leopardstown in January and returned there last month to finish third behind a couple of useful performers. He will improve again and prove difficult to beat but JOSH MONASH could turn out to be smart. He was sent to Stratford a fortnight ago for his debut and started odds-on but looked in need of the experience and was beaten a head. He's only a four-year-old and with that under his belt should go one better. Ballybryan has looked moderate, including when runner-up at Thurles, so Adrian Maguire's newcomer Celldomfed could run into a place while the filly Pres De Moi has a fine pedigree, though sports headgear on her debut.
