Amaulino won this marathon in 2019 and was beaten 2 lengths into second by Space Cadet last year. The pair probably have too much weight this time and the latter finished over 6 lengths behind Shady Operator when Enda Bolger's charge scored over the banks course at Punchestown with plenty in hand. High Sparrow has been struggling after going up 12lb for scoring at Kilbeggan but 14-times point-to-point winner Kruzhlinin produced a remarkable performance to win very easily at Navan and may not be finished yet despite an 8lb rise. MON LINO has been going quite well over hurdles but is better known as a staying chaser. His close third behind Cap York in the Grade A Leinster Handicap at Naas a year ago would make him difficult to beat from 1lb lower.
