It's about time MONITION was winning a race and Gordon Elliott looks to have found an ideal opportunity. Placed in half of his 14 starts over timber, he's rarely been beaten far and his three recent efforts over the course and distance should give him the edge. His stable companion Killinkere ran well here in May before struggling when stepped up to 3m at Wexford while Generator City also didn't stay 3m last time when his rider failed to weigh in but his earlier runs over this sort of trip puts him in the frame.
