Canny Tom has yet to win in 18 career starts and had just been headed when falling at the last at Perth. That was over 2m4f and he was going well at this trip so his chance has to be respected. OUR RACHAEL (NAP) has been a bit in and out but was beaten less than two lengths in a big field here in August and performed with credit on the Flat at the Curragh on Monday so looks ready to gain her first victory. Clonleney is another inconsistent type though he's finished a close second on three occasions and a repeat of any of those runs puts him in the frame. Ballyfinboy has mainly been racing over fences and comes here on a 19lb lower mark while Neddyvaughan ran his best race to date over slightly further at Clonmel where he was in the lead at this trip.
