B L Swagger won a bumper in the summer and though he showed little over hurdles he's always been regarded as a chasing type. Kylecrue twice pulled up over hurdles last month so it was a surprise that he landed a Clonmel handicap last time despite jumping left throughout. Rory's Brother has shown glimpses of ability and, though never in the first two in 18 career starts, this isn't the toughest of races. Silver Chief has had 25 career starts and won just once in a Sligo maiden hurdle, though she did run much better at Clonmel last time. CHEAP AS CHIPS would probably win this if able to repeat his performance over the course and distance in October when beaten narrowly into third behind More Madness so is handed a tentative vote.
