MR GROOCOCK is hardly a stable star but his run behind Bob Le Beau over a trip much too short at Ballinrobe last month points to his obvious chance in this poor contest. Spring Lane won a bumper here last March but hasn't been seen since a moderate debut over hurdles at Kilbeggan a couple of months later and Little King Robin looks more of a threat after a promising run behind the well regarded New River at Kilbeggan. Hold The Fire ran better than expected on her handicap bow at Galway and should build on that enough to make her presence felt.
