In depth

Verdict

Gordon Elliott has two entries here. CORRAN CROSS went for £130,000 at the sales after landing a Tinahely point last November and will be expected to start paying his way. Imperial Sachin's is by Fame And Glory out of a winning bumper so has plenty going for him while Noel Meade's Flanking Maneuver didn't run badly behind Eric Bloodaxe and Grade 1 Cheltenham Bumper winner Ferny Hollow in a very strong Fairyhouse bumper in December. Stuart Crawford has a good record in these races here and The Count is out of a mare who won a Grade 1 hurdle.
