Verdict

It's difficult to know what the assessor will make of EMMA BEAG's (NAP) demolition job in a maiden on heavy ground at Sligo on Thursday but Liz Doyle's mare will certainly go up by much more than the 4lb penalty she receives for this. She's shown she acts on good ground so is impossible to oppose. Genesta makes her handicap debut and has the advantage of a course and distance victory and she again ran well when runner-up to Msmilan at Limerick. Knocklayde Sno Cat has yet to win in 17 starts but has gone very close on several occasions and it will be her turn soon. Teacher's Pet has been running well on this sort of ground all summer and should get into the frame.
