In depth

Verdict

Bellaney Gem has been sent to the UK for her past three runs, scoring at Sedgefield then beaten a short-head at Perth but DREAMINGANDHOPING made most for a comfortable victory in a Ballinrobe maiden and an opening handicap mark of 109 can see her back in the winner's enclosure. Paula's Prayer bounced back to form at Fairyhouse and a 5lb rise isn't excessive while Kate Ill Know landed a Clonmel maiden before a fair handicap debut at Limerick. Shopping Around was well supported at Thurles after finishing a close second behind Espion Du Chenet at Naas but was never travelling in a race won by that winner.
