Verdict

Bose Ikard made a promising start over fences at Down Royal but didn't build on that at Tramore when winning point-to-pointer and hurdler Clara More finished in front of him. Sarabad had a pipe-opener over fences over a trip much too short at Punchestown and did well enough to be considered while Totally Couture will be better for the experience of his first run over the bigger obstacles at Kilbeggan. WICKLOW GOLD landed a maiden hurdle at Tramore in December and has competed at a high level subsequently. His pedigree suggests he'll be much better jumping fences and he can make a successful start. Ultra Light has shown some promise over the bigger obstacles as has Waltz Legend, who makes a quick reappearance after a very good run behind Bally Longford at Kilbeggan on Sunday.
