Stellium's second in a big field at Punchestown in January came on heavy ground. Artiste D'ainay looked the likely winner for most of the way at Sedgefield but couldn't quicken in the testing conditions. Ossifer Hops hadn't shown much before a much-improved effort at Ballinrobe where he was beaten less than a length when conceding 8lb to Jay Jay Zee. Further progress can see him in the hunt though he'd earlier finished ten lengths behind RING O ROSES at Navan so Henry De Bromhead's mare looks the one to beat. Winning bumper Invictus World disappointed when sent to Perth for his debut over timber last month and is probably better than that.
