ARDMILLAN didn't appreciate stepping up to three miles on his hat-trick bid at Down Royal though he'd shot up the weights and has been raised a further 7lb, which looks harsh. However, there is no strength in depth in this contest and, with his young rider's claim to help, he can return to winning ways. Araglen Lad had been well behind him at Fairyhouse earlier but was still in front when falling four out at Down Royal last time and is quite well handicapped. Glasson Lad hasn't been showing much at Dundalk and career a strike-rate of 0-34 hardly inspires confidence. Wexford winner Halls Bridge is better over further but Mark Me Up is just 3lb higher than his last winning mark. Sacre Malta hasn't won a race for well over two years and that was over hurdles.
