Shinahwil had become disappointing and slipped to a lowly mark before her victory at Thurles last week where she was probably fortunate. She's been raised 6lb but still looks reasonably treated and should get competitive. TAKEN TWICE (NAP) is effective on quick ground as he showed with a comfortable victory at Wexford last week. He's another who wouldn't want much more rain but is taken to follow up from a 6lb higher mark. If the ground were to turn testing then Sarah Battle looks the one to be on as she's only 4lb higher than when scoring at Limerick in April and is greatly aided by Adam O'Neill's claim. French import Varene De Vauzelle was having only his second start for Mick Hourigan when runner-up over this trip at Downpatrick and there should be more to come but Tico has a poor career strike-rate of 1-37 with his only victory coming in 2011.
