      Verdict

      ON EAGLES WINGS, runner-up to subsequent Grade 1 winner Ferny Hollow at Fairyhouse, has won both starts since and returned with an impressive victory at Cork. He has to concede Chemical Energy 7lb but his rider's claim takes care of the extra and he gets the nod over Gordon Elliott's very easy Roscommon winner. Any Givin Sunday made most at Punchestown, with previous winner Staging Post behind, but takes on much stiffer opposition.
