An excellent pot has brought out a strong field, most of them in good form. Sunchart ran in the Irish Derby and wasn't disgraced. He'd only been beaten just over a length by the winner of that classic, Santiago, on his debut in September and any easing of the ground would be in his favour. Red Kelly won pulling a handcart over 1m2f at Leopardstown, which is why he's been raised a massive 21lb. The runner-up has won subsequently, however, so Johnny Murtagh's charge could still be on a fair mark. The stable also run Springbank, who produced major improvement from his last place at Leopardstown to score at Fairyhouse and there's more to come. Ger Lyons looks to have a strong hand with Marchons Ensemble, who was going on very strongly over 1m2f at Leopardstown, and BABY ZEUS. Colin Keane was on board for both of their last runs and chooses the latter, a staying-on fourth behind subsequent Listed winner Delphi at Navan.
