Verdict

After scoring over this trip at Sligo, Lake George was just outpaced over slightly shorter at Limerick and has gone up in the weights again. MR GOOD GUY has dropped a massive 17lb in the ratings since last summer and though it was only a claimer he won at Fairyhouse he should have had his confidence restored and can complete a double. The three-year-old Chaplin Bay is one of the few here with scope and his last two starts, especially when beaten a short-head by the in-form Ishebayorgrey at Dundalk, suggests he'll be winning very soon. Octavia is another making progress and a line through that Dundalk winner gives here a fine chance of gaining her first victory on her tenth start. Tipperary winner Plough Boy has gone up 8lb and this is tougher.
