Verdict

TOWER OF LONDON led into the straight and stayed on strongly to land a Leopardstown Listed race at just short of this trip and can defy top weight. Stablemate Hippodrome, a Curragh maiden winner on soft ground, could do with more rain but Matt Connor is progressing at a rate of knots and has been staying on strongly for his two victories over 1m2f. Malbay Madness has been raised 6lb for finishing second in a Navan premier handicap and, though 2lb out of the handicap, has Siobhan Rutledge's claim to aid his cause. Dubawi Spectre stepped up to this trip for the first time at Fairyhouse and was always going well while it's difficult to rule out the others in a very tight handicap.
