In depth

Verdict

Another tough one for punters to unravel. MOBANE ALI was making her handicap debut over 1m4f at Leopardstown earlier this month and almost pulled off a surprise success, only succumbing in the closing stages to Formal Bid. A repeat would see her difficult to beat over this shorter trip and she gets the nod to go one better. Cool Athlete finally got off the mark at the 20th attempt at Dundalk but this is tougher and he's 5lb higher. Crying Aloud has never won on turf and looks high enough in the weights but the lightly-raced Sun Disc has some improvement in her and is on the short-list. Marcus Attilius showed some promise at Gowran and runs from the same mark and Cadeaux Fax showed signs of a revival at Ayr.
