Verdict

Gordon Elliott has four entries including two four-year-olds though Media Naranja was engaged in the 2.02 yesterday. Bestaline, a winner on the Flat in France, has shown potential and makes her handicap debut. Party Central and Magic Tricks have both been out of form and it seems significant that Jack Kennedy has been allowed to ride The Model Kingdom for Noel Meade. Placed in a Grade 3 at the fixture a year ago, and runner-up in a mares‘ Listed race at the Punchestown Festival, she had a spin on the Flat last month so should be ready for this. Palace Rock also had a run on the level last month, his first since runner-up in a strong Leopardstown handicap in December, while Dark Note has been in winning form on the Flat and over timber during the summer. FOXY GIRL makes her handicap debut and a mark of 127 may be underestimating her. A Limerick maiden winner, she only weakened on the run-in in the Mares‘ Novices‘ Hurdle at Cheltenham and can make a winning return.
