Verdict

BE MY SEA probably came up against a pair of useful performers on his debut at Leopardstown and though beaten 14 lengths he'll improve and is handed the vote. Cape City Boy didn't enjoy the best of runs when a close second to the well-supported Sir Will at Naas and will make a bold bid to go one better. He should have no trouble confirming the form with Petit Chef, who was around nine lengths back in fifth. Gordon Elliott is having a tremendous season and Eagle Passing is a newcomer to note as is The West's Awake, who is by Yeats out of the high-class Bilboa so should be useful.
