Poppadom didn't run badly in a Curragh nursery and should be suited by the extra furlong. The Bear Trap didn't get the best of runs over a mile at Killarney while BURN THE BRIDGES has failed to show in his three starts. However, the latter has raced against some top performers and did a bit better at the Curragh so gets the nod. Velvet Skies was staying on in a 6f nursery on the latter track so looks a threat in a race where nothing can be ruled out.
