Verdict

A tight-looking handicap headed at the weights by dual Galway Hurdle winner Tudor City. Tony Martin's charge had a recent run on the level and though looking a bit high in the weights relishes these big hurdles races. The stable also run Nibiru, who finished in front of his stablemate on the level last time after going up 8lb for landing a ladies' handicap hurdle at Navan. Gordon Elliott has four entered with Davy Russell on board FELIX DESJY for the first time. His mount is just 2lb higher than when landing a similar race at Punchestown in April and 10lb lower than his chase mark so gets the nod. Sam Ewing takes over on Pats Choice, who found 2m3f too far at Galway after looking one to follow over this trip at Navan. Watch The Weather was injured at Listowel and Rachael was on board when he completed a double in August while Pinkerton was a very promising novice last season. Wingin A Prayer was engaged in the 2.40 yesterday.
