Verdict

Carmels Boy won this 12 months ago but has a lengthy absence to overcome if he's to be successful this year. NEED TO KNOW won a point-to-point at Tinahely in March when Elembridge King was only third. He was then a fair sixth at Fairyhouse before finishing fourth at Cork and can open his account under Rules today. Mattara will enjoy the fast ground and may be the danger as he has more scope than Kanesh, who ran over the cross-country fences at Punchestown last week.
