Grade 3 winning hurdler TOMBSTONE was expected to make a successful debut over fences at Fairyhouse but found the race-fit Bamako Moriviere too strong and went down narrowly. That will have brought him on a bundle and he can go one better. Stable companion Midnight Escape is another who will have greatly benefited from his chasing debut at Galway and that was only the sixth run of his career including a victory between the flags. Moulin A Vent has some very smart form over timber to his credit and has always been regarded as potentially useful over fences while Gilt Shadow, another fine hurdler, was well clear when falling at the last on his chasing bow at Navan though that was almost three years ago.
