Snaffles, a half-brother to four winners, started favourite for a Leopardstown maiden last month but met trouble in-running and couldn't get close. He'll come on a bundle for the experience but conceding weight to the fillies Nawraq and GAIRE OS ARD may prove beyond him. The former had been progressing nicely before a moderate run at Bellewstown so it's the latter, who finished just in front of Snaffles at Leopardstown, who looks the one to beat despite being no match for Thunder Eclipse at Naas.
