Verdict

Gordon Elliott has a strong hand with Calagogo, who completed a hat-trick last summer but disappointed in two runs in the autumn, and Where It All Began. The latter battled to a short-head victory at Tramore on New Year's Day but that was on heavy ground and he was outclassed in the Albert Bartlett at Cheltenham. Hammersmith has had a couple of decent runs at Dundalk since showing good form over timber at the turn of the year while Angels Dawn followed an impressive maiden success at Limerick with a decent run in a Fairyhouse handicap. CHINX OF LIGHT looked one to follow when landing a Galway maiden and was nowhere near right in a Cork Grade 3 in December so hopefully is over whatever ailed him.
