Verdict

CEBUANO stands out as the one to beat in this contest. A runner-up on his first three starts, he finished just behind a subsequent winner when fifth at Fairyhouse in October, and Mick Halford's charge looks to have leading claims on his return to action. Hidden Future had Better Back Bob three lengths behind when fifth at Downpatrick last time and is not without a chance, while Fleur De Nuit made a promising debut behind Rheinland at Tramore with Sarah Ann well beaten and is another to consider. Watchmetal was a runner-up at Punchestown on last year's debut but has disappointed on both occasions since.
