Our Maimie has had plenty of chances and doesn't appear to be getting any better judging on her run at Downpatrick last time. Winning bumper Butney Rock has attempted to make all on his two latest starts and if ridden with more restraint would have a chance of lasting out. Leith Oscar ran a superb race behind Rebel Fitz at Ballinrobe but that was over fences which is where her future lies. Express Du Berlais was just in front when left clear for an easy victory between the flags and along with fellow point-to-point winner SIZING COAL makes this an interesting opener with preference just for the latter.
