      Verdict

      Consequences is eased in grade and slipping down the weights - it would be no surprise to see him perform better this evening. Seen The Lyte rattled up a hat-trick earlier this season but has found the going tougher in recent outings. Thirsk winner Harrogate was well beaten off this mark at Ripon but Dotted Swiss should benefit from Rossa Ryan’s claim. Makanah beat a subsequent winner in a a maiden at Redcar and could find the improvement necessary to overcome a 6lb rise but we’ll give another chance to SHAHEEN (NAP). John Quinn’s charge found one too good at Ayr last week and is 2lb higher now but a return to fast ground is a huge plus.
