Verdict
Good to see better ground available at Town Moor and a tricky opener on an eight-race card. MCCABE CREEK is taken to build on an improved showing at Taunton last month when partnered by today's 10lb conditional rider, a run which puts him on a feasible mark once again. More lightly-raced than most of his rivals, he looks to be progressing with time and experience and a solid run is anticipated. Polarbrook is far more exposed than the selection but has gone close here in tight finishes on his last two starts and will certainly appreciate forecast conditions. Bells Of Ailsworth is interesting on return from an absence whilst Charlie Cook could enter calculations if building on a much better effort at Market Rasen for a yard that has a decent record here.
