In depth

Verdict

Militarian is still on an upward curve and Station Master is a bit unlucky not have already won this season. Treackle Tart has taken well to fences while last month’s Uttoxeter runner-up Another Frontier is already a course and distance winner, though 10lb higher now. Ascot third Battle Of Shiloh has been lightly campaigned in recent years and is not without a chance but Dan Skelton has sent CABARET QUEEN here in search of better ground and could be rewarded. She probably saw too much daylight last time and can reverse that form with Battle Of Shiloh if ridden with more restraint today.
