    Verdict

Kings Grey has won three times over fences and also won a bumper in 2010. He's been placed in four of his seven starts over hurdles and is likely to be thereabouts again. Winning bumper Rolling Maul was only beaten a length at Ffos Las earlier this month while Devon Drum was second at Kempton and will strip fitter here. He's preferred to Lemony Bay and Dark Dune, who may do better over an extra half-mile. MIJHAAR made regular appearance at Group 3 level on the Flat and won a Listed handicap over 1m4f at Hamilton in May for Roger Varian. John Ferguson's recent acquisition may be a cut above these if taking to hurdles and gets the nod.
