Most of these are looking for a return to form but not so FORTROSE ACADEMY. The penny looked to have finally dropped with him when second on the Polytrack last time and he gets the tentative vote. Those with the past form to figure include Quick Bite, third at Newcastle in August, and Serene Oasis, who was below par on soft ground last time which doesn't bode well for her chances today. Pashan Garh would have leading claims if repeating July's second at Newmarket and Dubious Escapade would go close on her win at Beverley back in May.
