MOUNT MEWS looked certain to prevail over a longer trip at Wetherby a couple of weeks ago but got collared close home. He’d won over 2m at Kelso earlier and can get back on track here. Nicolosio won three times at Listed level on the Flat and was also placed in higher grades. But he’s not raced since November 2015 and Paul Cowley won’t be rushing him. Theodorico won on the Flat in Ireland for Jim Bolger but has his first run for David Loughnane and is also making his hurdling debut. Wealth Des Mottes was pulled up on his UK debut for Paul Nicholls but should leave that run well behind in time and Man Look is also probably capable of better.
