TERUNTUM STAR was fourth in a race at York earlier this month which he’d won 12 months earlier. This is his time of year, the ground is in his favour again and he remains well treated on his best form. Von Blucher doesn’t handle soft ground so will be hoping the going dries out a little but he won here last month, though the drop in trip is not ideal. Get Knotted also needs further nowadays but Captain Jameson beat a few of these at York two weeks ago and enters calculations as he also won on soft going here last year. Amazour is also a previous course winner but is looking a couple of pounds too high at present while Victory Angel has become expensive to follow.
