In depth

Verdict

Signora Princess won over 5f at Catterick before finishing third over 6f at Wolverhampton so could find this trip ideal. J R Cavagin can only improve on his run at Thirsk but HARMONY LIL came up against an improver at Bath and, only a pound higher, can go one better today ahead of Batraan, who didn’t handle soft going at Goodwood last month. Pockley was second to an in-form sprinter at York but might find this too short while Thornaby Pearl is upped 6lb for winning on soft ground at Ripon.
