Magical Morning has a couple of rides today for John Gosden, starting with easy Yarmouth winner Magical Morning. The Muhaarar colt is clearly heading in the right direction but will not find this easy under his penalty. Daniel Deronda was well backed over 7f at Haydock but got going too late. He has ability and the extra furlong is massively in his favour. Baarrij and Winter Thorn are almost certain improvers and Vega Magic failed to handle heavy ground at Redcar in the autumn having finishing second on debut at York. HYDROS is by Frankel and a half-brother to the stable’s Listed and Group 3 winner Sangarius, who won here in 2018. He’s held in high regard and can make a winning start to his career.
