In depth

Verdict

A couple of these can effectively race off lower marks than when winning last time thanks to their riders' allowance. That includes Go Chique, who won at Bangor in September, but CAIUS MARCIUS has been taking advantage of a slide down the weights and won at Perth before landing a higher-grade contest at Wetherby last month. The veteran was scoring off a 10lb higher mark last year and can go in again. Kala Noire won over fences at Bangor back in April while Jack Devine drops back down in class.
