Final Venture bids for a four-timer off another career-high mark but all of his victories have come on much quicker going. Eastern Racer is back on song but the Thirsk winner is 4lb higher here and was behind Dandyleekie at Ripon in April and Whozthecat at Haydock in September. Best Trip is back over his best trip after finishing fifth at York but the nine-year-old is high enough in the weights now, though is one of three course and distance winners in tonight's line-up. MESHARDAL is another and Ruth Carr's charge is among the pick of the weights. He's been hinting at a revival and is 13lb lower in the weights than at this time last year – he was second at Newmarket last August off a mark of 88. Mass Rally loves these big-field sprints but hasn't won since 2013, though is now 21lb lower.
