Verdict

Barons Spy took advantage of a drop in class and scored at Bath a fortnight ago, but the veteran will do well to follow-up off a higher mark. Grissom returned to winning ways on slower surface at Hamilton last time but doesn't look like getting any cut in the ground here and the vote goes to the rejuvenated JACK RACKHAM. He won two of his three starts on Polytrack earlier this year and can return to the turf off only a 1lb higher mark. Bryan Smart's charge is taken to continue his winning ways at the chief expense of Fantasy Explorer, who showed signs of a return to form at Sandown last time.
